Short summary
Animal husbandry plays an important role in Ukraine. The use of different mathematical models for the characterization of cattle growth can increase the efficiency of breeding. In the present study, four different non-linear models (negative exponential, logistic, Richard, and Gompertz) were compared. The Richard model provides a robust framework for describing and predicting cattle growth.
