The influence of exterior traits and calving ease on milk yield in Czech Fleckvieh cows was analyzed. The influence of height at the sacrum and body depth on milk yield was demonstrated. The length of the fore and rear udders, the angle of udder attachment, and the depth of the udder all had a significant impact on milk yield. Thus, evaluation of the udder and frame's exterior traits is crucial for milk production. In the case of calving ease, only the influence of muscularity was proven.

This study was carried out to determine the effect of workwear clothing color on stress and fear in chickens in layer hen coops. A person working routinely in the henhouse was dressed in six different respective workwear colors (dark blue, green, red, yellow, black, and white), and sound measurements were made in the henhouse in each instance. It was determined that the color of the worker's clothing affected the sound intensity of the chickens.

The g.405442728A>G locus of HRG exhibited moderate polymorphism (0.25<PIC<0.5) in these breeds, indicating this locus has great selection potential. It is accurate to say HRG can be used as a molecular marker to increase litter size in Small-tailed Han sheep (STH). The g.405442728A>G locus of HRG and the g.421655951C>T locus of FETUB had a significant effect on litter size in STH (P<0.05). We can use HRG and FETUB as candidate genes for the selection of litter size in sheep breeding.

The potential of olive leaves was investigated by comparing two rates of dietary incorporations, 3 % and 6 %, of olive leaves into the three commercial feeds corresponding to the three growth phases, during 15 weeks of rearing. This work highlights the interest of using the locally available ingredients in order to reduce the production costs of turkey meat in Algeria and, above all, to reduce the dependence of the poultry industry on imports in general.

Rosemary essential oils could be recommended for dairy ewes fed silage to improve the nutritional quality of their milk for human consumption.

The present study aimed to evaluate the impact of dietary lysozyme levels on the growth performance, hematological and blood biochemical parameters, immunity, antioxidant capacity, and intestinal microbial count in broiler chickens. In conclusion, chicken egg lysozyme (50 mg kg⁻¹), a promising alternative for antibiotics in broiler chickens' diet, can enhance growth performance, antioxidant status, immunity, and intestinal microbiota.

The aim of our study is to describe the relationships between selected parameters of milk production and reproduction. A total of 659 cows were included in the evaluation. First, the relationships between service period and milk production parameters were evaluated. Then the influence of breed and parity on milk production parameters was evaluated. The results of our study show that it is important to pay attention to the management of cow reproduction.
