The statistical analysis established a highly significant influence of all observed factors. The highest rankings and numerical superiority were achieved by stallions and by 3- and 4-year-old horses. The best horses were from Ireland and Great Britain, and they were trained in Ireland. The best paternal line was Mr. Prospector (USA).

This study is focused on the development of the inbreeding coefficients in Zwartbles sheep in the Czech Republic. The effect of inbreeding on meat yield was investigated. There was a statistically significant increase in inbreeding coefficient between 1997–2021. A statistically significant effect of the inbreeding coefficient on weight at 100 d, musculus longissimus dorsi (MLD) thickness, and back fat thickness was found. A negative relationship between inbreeding and meat yield was found.

The aim of this paper was to evaluate semen parameters from Czech Fleckvieh bulls used in artificial insemination (AI) in the Fleckvieh population. We analyzed 1029 samples from 46 Fleckvieh bulls from one AI station. Semen from the bulls was collected once a week, which is not usual in other AI stations. We also assessed sperm quality parameters of ejaculate before freezing and after thawing. The ejaculate parameters were evaluated in relation to the collection season and the age of the bulls.

Short summary
The influence of exterior traits and calving ease on milk yield in Czech Fleckvieh cows was analyzed. The influence of height at the sacrum and body depth on milk yield was demonstrated. The length of the fore and rear udders, the angle of udder attachment, and the depth of the udder all had a significant impact on milk yield. Thus, evaluation of the udder and frame's exterior traits is crucial for milk production. In the case of calving ease, only the influence of muscularity was proven.
