Short summary
This study evaluated the effects of dietary Viburnum opulus L. fruit powder (VOFP) on performance, egg quality, and egg yolk cholesterol in laying Japanese quails. VOFP supplementation had no adverse effects on growth performance. The VOFP5 group showed improvement in selected internal egg quality parameters, whereas the VOFP15 group demonstrated a significant reduction in egg yolk cholesterol only in the sixth week, indicating the potential of VOFP as a phytogenic feed additive.
